Church Offers Safe Halloween Alternative With Free Food, Entertainment

A local church is opening its doors Halloween night to offer families a free alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.

Living Word Christian Church Pasadena will host Harvest Night on Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 135 Glorieta Street.

The event centers on trunk-or-treat starting at 7 p.m. Organizers promise free candy, popcorn, hotdogs and drinks for attendees.

Live entertainment will include music and rap performances throughout the evening.

The church bills the gathering as a safe space for children to enjoy Halloween. The family-friendly atmosphere aims to blend festive fun with community connection.

The 90-minute event offers a wholesome option for parents seeking supervised Halloween activities. No admission fee will be charged.
