The City of Pasadena will host a free, public watch party for Team USA’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against Belgium on Monday, July 6, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza.
The event will be the third in the City’s Fútbol 2026 watch party series and, according to a City of Pasadena press release, is presented in partnership with Visit Pasadena and funded by Los Angeles County Fifth District Supervisor Kathryn Barger. The event starts at 3:30 p.m. and the game starts at 5 p.m.
The watch party will take place at 300 E. Green St., where the City says the street and plaza will be transformed into a community event space, featuring food trucks, family-friendly activities, soccer-themed games, music, and drinks for purchase at the beer garden. Attendees are encouraged to represent their favorite soccer team.
The event is free and open to the public. RSVP is recommended and can be made here.
Limited seating is available, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, the City said. This event and the surrounding sidewalks and crossings are accessible for attendees using wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
Pasadena Transit Routes 10, 20, 40 and 51 are located near the plaza, and more information is available at PasadenaTransit.net. Attendees can also take the Metro A Line to the Memorial Park or Del Mar stations, each a 10-minute walk from the watch party, the City said.
Because Pasadena temperatures can be warm, especially in the afternoon and early evening hours, the City is encouraging guests to drink plenty of water throughout the event, wear lightweight, light-colored clothing, hats and sunscreen, and be aware of signs of heat-related illness, including dizziness, headache, nausea, excessive sweating or fatigue.
Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted; only service animals specifically trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome.
The watch party follows earlier events in the series for Team USA’s opening match against Paraguay on June 12 and Mexico’s match against Czechia on June 24. The United States reached the Round of 16 with a win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Belgium advanced past Senegal, according to tournament coverage.
