Area Congresswoman Judy Chu took time to make the holidays a bit brighter by helping to distribute donated turkeys and other food items to multiple local nonprofit organizations in the San Gabriel Valley as part of the annual “Operation Gobble.”
The Foothill Unity Center, the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Greater Pasadena, and the Pasadena Share a Meal Program were included in this donation program, which took place at the Rosemead Community Center on Monday, Nov. 9.
The turkeys will be used to help feed families in need.
