Cloudy skies and cool temperatures will linger through Tuesday in Pasadena, with forecasters calling for light showers before a sharp warm-up later this week.
National Weather Service forecasters said Monday that highs will stay near 65 degrees through Tuesday, with a 20 to 30 percent chance of showers. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light, generally less than a tenth of an inch.
Today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, a high near 65 degrees, and southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph. Overnight lows will dip to around 51 degrees.
By Wednesday, skies will clear and temperatures will rise to about 76 degrees. Sunshine and dry conditions will continue through the weekend, with highs climbing into the 80s and reaching 91 degrees by Sunday.
Forecasters said the warming trend will be steady, with Thursday near 83 degrees, Friday at 85 degrees, and Saturday at 88 degrees. Overnight lows will range from the upper 50s to low 60s.
The extended outlook shows continued dry and warm conditions into next week, with temperatures remaining above seasonal averages.
