Pasadena residents will see a major change in weather this week as cool, cloudy skies give way to sunny and much warmer conditions, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to climb from the mid-60s Tuesday to the lower 90s by Sunday.
Today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers before 11:00 a.m. Highs will reach near 65 degrees, with light southwest winds around 5 mph. Overnight lows will fall to about 52 degrees under continued cloud cover.
Forecasters say Wednesday will bring clear skies and a high near 75 degrees. Thursday will continue the warming trend, with highs reaching 84 degrees. By Friday, temperatures will rise to 85 degrees under sunny skies.
The weekend outlook shows highs of 88 degrees Saturday and 91 degrees Sunday, with clear skies both days. Overnight lows will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s.
The extended forecast calls for highs near 92 degrees Monday, with conditions remaining dry and above normal through early next week.
The National Weather Service reports the warming pattern will be steady, with temperatures climbing each day and reaching summerlike levels by the weekend.
