Warm, dry weather will give way to cooler temperatures and a chance of light rain beginning Wednesday in Pasadena, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
Highs near 77 degrees Tuesday will fall to the low 70s Wednesday and mid-60s by Friday as onshore flow replaces offshore winds, forecasters said. Light rain or drizzle is possible Thursday into Friday, though totals are expected to remain under 0.10 inches.
Sunny skies and breezy northeast winds will mark Tuesday’s conditions, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph in mountain areas but staying below advisory levels. Winds will weaken and shift onshore Wednesday.
The forecast calls for partly sunny skies Wednesday with highs near 71 and calm winds. Thursday brings a 20 percent chance of showers, with highs near 66. Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with highs near 64.
Temperatures will rebound over the weekend, with highs near 68 Saturday and 71 Sunday under clear skies. Overnight lows will range from the mid-40s to upper 40s.
Looking ahead, dry conditions are expected early next week with highs in the low 70s. Longer-range models suggest another chance of light rain around Jan. 30–31, though confidence remains low.
