A cooling trend and strong winds are expected to impact Pasadena beginning Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters said temperatures will dip into the upper 60s to mid-70s while gusts, possibly of 30 to 50 mph, are likely through Saturday.
Today will be partly cloudy in the morning before clearing, with a high near 75 degrees. Winds will shift south at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, increasing clouds and patchy fog after 4:00 a.m. will bring lows around 43 degrees.
Tuesday will warm slightly to about 78 degrees under clearing skies. Winds will remain light, shifting from calm to south-southwest at 5 mph. Tuesday night will be clear with lows near 46 degrees. Wednesday will be sunny with highs around 76 degrees.
Forecasters said temperatures will cool Thursday before warming again over the weekend. Highs are expected near 75 degrees Thursday, 80 degrees Saturday and 83 degrees Sunday.
Looking ahead, forecasters expect dry conditions with temperatures in the 70s to low 80s next week. Winds may continue, though their strength will depend on the path of an upper-level low.
