A gradual cooling trend will begin Tuesday in Pasadena, easing daytime highs from the mid-90s to the lower 90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters said the high-pressure system that fueled recent heat is weakening and shifting east, allowing cooler air and increased onshore flow. Monday’s high is expected to reach 95 degrees, with southwest winds increasing to 10 mph by afternoon.

Tuesday’s high will dip to around 91 degrees, with similar conditions forecast through Wednesday. Overnight lows will fall from 64 degrees Monday night to near 60 degrees Tuesday night.

Temperatures will remain in the low 90s through Friday, then rise slightly over the weekend. Highs of 92 degrees on Saturday and 93 degrees on Sunday will bring conditions back to seasonal norms.

No rain is expected in Pasadena, but forecasters noted a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms in the San Gabriel Mountains through Tuesday. Moisture levels remain elevated, supporting isolated convection at higher elevations.

Winds will stay light throughout the week, with afternoon breezes from the southwest and calm conditions overnight.

The weekend outlook calls for continued sunshine and stable temperatures. No precipitation is forecast, and conditions will be favorable for outdoor activities.

No heat advisories or warnings are currently in effect. The National Weather Service has lifted all heat-related alerts for the region.

The extended forecast shows little change next week, with highs in the low 90s and lows in the low to mid-60s. Marine layer clouds may form along the coast but are unlikely to reach inland valleys.

Forecasters said Pasadena will enter a quieter weather pattern this week, with easing temperatures and lower humidity.
