Coroner’s Office Identified Teenager Who Jumped to His Death

The Coroner’s Office today identified the teenager who jumped to his death from the library at La Canada High School Friday afternoon as a resident of Pasadena.

Campbell Taylor, 17 died in the fall, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. The death was being investigated as an apparent suicide.

Taylor apparently jumped about 4 p.m. Friday at the school at 4463 Oak Grove Drive and was declared dead about 15 minutes later, sheriffs’ Lt. Brian Fitch of the Crescenta Valley Station said.
