City Council is dark on Monday, and one important meeting has been rescheduled.
The City Council was scheduled to hold a joint meeting with the Pasadena Unified School District on April 28.
However, at the request of officials with the Pasadena Unified School District, the joint meeting has been rescheduled to May 12.
The District made headlines earlier this year when officials announced plans to cut over 150 positions.
The decision has left many constituents in the District angry. Dozens of teachers, students, and parents urged the school District to reconsider the cuts, which came after many teachers lost their homes during the devastating Eaton Fire, which burned 9,000 homes in the area.
Some of those positions are currently vacant. The Pasadena Unified School District employs about 2,700 employees.
