An SUV which had been involved in a collision with a second car on the eastbound 210 Freeway just west of the Madre Street offramp was hurtled onto the K-rail, coming to rest partially on the Metro Goldline train tracks about 10:23 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities said that when Pasadena firefighters and paramedics arrived on scene all the occupants of the car had gotten out of it.
One of the SUV’s occupants was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. The other two refused treatment and transport, officials said.
Pasadena Fire Department contacted the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Metro division, which in turn requested an Metro supervisor and crew.
Power was shut off to the affected track, and train traffic diverted to a second track.
