The Pasadena Federal Credit Union will open a business community support initiative next week at its Lake Branch Community Center to help Altadena businesses that were damaged or destroyed by the Eaton Fire.
The program will provide critical emergency supplies and personal necessities to affected business owners.
The distribution center will operate from the credit union’s Lake Avenue branch at 1285 N. Lake Ave. in Pasadena.
It will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., except on opening day, Feb. 4, when it will not open until 11a.m.
The support center offers essential items including N95 protective face masks, air purifiers, portable solar panel power stations, and various personal items such as clothing and hygiene products. Local businesses can access these resources at the Lake Branch location twice weekly.
No appointments are necessary for pickup, and affected businesses can contact the branch directly at (800) 445-7328 with questions.
The initiative represents a partnership between Pasadena Federal Credit Union and the Altadena Chamber of Commerce & Civic Association to provide immediate relief to the local business community.
“Pasadena FCU proudly supports Altadena Chamber and Altadena businesses. We are here to assist our community following the Eaton Fire,” credit union officials said in an announcement.
