Pasadena Bike Month runs from Saturday, May 2, through Sunday, May 31, the city said in an April 27 announcement. The Eventbrite collection maintained by the organizers lists 17 upcoming events across the month, including the Beginner’s Bagel Ride at Caltech on May 9, Bike to Work Day at Pasadena City Hall on May 14, the Greene & Greene Architecture Bike Tour on May 17, and the Pasadena E-bike Expo at Rose Bowl Area H on May 24.
The city said helmets are required for youth under 18 and recommended for riders of all ages, and riders should check that their bikes are in good working order.
