The Design Commission will consider the final design review application for the new six story 105-unit, multi-family residential project to be built at 270-282 North Los Robles Avenue at its meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
The project by developer CDB Investments LP involves constructing one level of A-grade parking and two levels of subterranean parking with 161 parking spaces.
Three protected specimen trees and one protected mature tree, as well as 12 non-protected on-site trees, are proposed to be removed at the site to accommodate the project.
The application for final design review presents design revisions in response to the conditions of approval from the previous Concept Design Review phase.
In addition to providing more detailed plans, elevations, sections and color and material information for the project, the developer and its architect LCRA Architects, will present detailed drawings and present a palette of materials that is consistent with the design of the building at the upcoming meeting.
Staff is recommending the approval of the application for final design review with the conditions of approval outlined in the staff report.
“The submitted drawings include materials specifications and architectural details that are high-quality and compatible with the overall building design,” staff said in its report.
“Staff recommends that the Commission approve the application for Final Design Review with conditions described in this report, which will be further reviewed by staff during building plan check.”
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Members of the public may attend the meeting in person or virtually via Zoom. The meeting ID is: 161 482 446.
