Diploma Ceremony for DELF Prim and DELF Junior Recipients at Alliance Française de Pasadena

Under the auspices of the Consulate General of France, The Alliance Française de Pasadena is honoring the DELF Prim and DELF Junior diploma recipients of Lila School (Lycée International de Los Angeles). Alliance Française de Pasadena is the only exam center to administer these tests in Southern California. Twice a year, candidates from California and other states come to the Alliance Française de Pasadena to take these exams.

DELF Prim and DELF Junior (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. DELF prim and junior are diplomas that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and are consistent with the
international standards for test development. There is also a version of these diplomas for Adults: DELF – DALF Tout Public. French Universities and employers in France require these exams for admission and employment.

Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA) was founded in 1978. There are four campuses located in Los Feliz, Tarzana, Santa Ana and Pasadena. They offer triple accreditation: Western Association of Schools and Colleges, French Ministry of Education and International Baccalaureate Organization. They provide education from Preschool to High School.

The Alliance Française de Pasadena was founded in 1924. Its purpose is to encourage the study of the French language and culture and promote understanding and friendship between the French people and others who share these interests. The Pasadena chapter differs from other language schools by offering a blend of language learning and cultural immersion.
