Driver Flees on Foot After Crashing SUV into Linda Vista Avenue Home

A driver fled on foot after crashing an SUV into a home in the 1300 block of Linda Vista Avenue early Tuesday, May 12, according to city officials. No one inside the residence was injured.

The collision was reported at 1:18 a.m. in the 1300 block of Linda Vista Avenue and cleared 39 minutes later, Pasadena Fire Department records show.

Fire and police personnel found the SUV partially inside the structure.

The home was issued a yellow tag, limiting access to the front entrance and restricting use of the rear sliding door and side yard, according to Pasadena Chief Communications Officer Lisa Derderian.

The homeowner was advised to consult a structural engineer.

Police later located and arrested the driver.
