Early Saturday Morning Garage Fire Causes $100,000 in Damages

An early Sunday morning garage fire at home on the 500 block of Flower Street in Northwest Pasadena was knocked down quickly but not before it caused $100,000 in damage, authorities said.

The 3:30 a.m. fire at the rear of the home brought Pasadena Fire Department units with mutual aid from the Alhambra Fire Department and Verdugo City Battalion 9. Pasadena police assisted.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, authorities said.
