EF Academy Pasadena will host a public information session featuring the University of Chicago on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The event aims to provide local students and families with insights into one of the world’s leading research universities.
“The University boasts impressive programs in the social sciences, biological and biomedical sciences, computer information sciences and support services, foreign languages and linguistics, public administration and social services, and the performing arts,” states the announcement from EF Academy Pasadena.
The session will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Robinson Gym at EF Academy Pasadena. A representative from the University of Chicago’s Office of Admissions will lead the presentation.
Attendees will learn about the University’s academic offerings and its commitment to challenging conventional thinking. Located in the heart of Hyde Park, the institution maintains a 5:1 student-faculty ratio, underscoring its focus on providing a personal and well-rounded experience to empower students to challenge conventional thinking in pursuit of original ideas.

EF Academy suggests that guests to arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and security screening. Visitors should enter through Gate C at 1610 Elizabeth Street, and be prepared to present government-issued identification for screening at the security booth.
EF Academy Pasadena, the host of the event, is a private day and boarding high school. It serves nearly 300 students from the San Gabriel Valley and over 30 countries worldwide, offering a highly individualized and hands-on curriculum for its students from 30+ countries.
