An 81-year-old woman reported missing Friday afternoon was located safely after a coordinated search effort involving Pasadena police officers and an aerial unit, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Thomas Blanchard.
The woman, who suffers from undisclosed medical conditions, was last seen in the 900 block of San Pasqual Avenue and reported missing at approximately 1:40 p.m. on Oct. 17, Blanchard said. Officers responded to the area for a “critical missing” call and initiated a search that included ground patrols and helicopter support.
About two hours later, the victim was located in the area, Blanchard said. “There were no signs of foul play.”
The incident prompted a multi-unit response, though further details about additional deployments were not immediately available.
