An 82-year-old Pasadena woman had her purse stolen from her on July 3, it was announced this morning.
According to the Pasadena Police Department, the woman was walking near the corner of Altadena Drive and Morningside Street when the unidentified suspect approached her from behind and took her purse.
The victim reported to police officials that her purse contained a wallet, some cash, a few cards and personal checks. She was reportedly unharmed.
Pasadena Police are still searching for the suspect, who the watch commander described as a male in his 20s or 30s, either black or Hispanic, and wearing a light blue cap with either a light blue or white shirt and jeans.
The incident occured at 10 a.m. on Friday. If anyone witnessed the purse-snatching or has any further information, they are urged to contact the Detectives division of the Pasadena Police Department.
