
As the challenge of homelessness intensifies in Pasadena, a panel of experts and a community discussion are set to explore potential solutions.
The panel for “How We Can End Street Homelessness in Pasadena” on Wednesday, Nov. 29 will feature knowledgeable figures including Anne Miskey, CEO of Union Station Homeless Services; Dr. Alisa Orduna, from the USC Price School of Public Policy Instructor; and Amara Ononiwu, Chair of Faith Community Committee at Pasadena Partnership.
Dr. Joe Colletti, CEO of Hub for Urban Initiatives, and Lt. Erika Aklufi, a former HOPE Team Leader at the Santa Monica Police Department, are also scheduled to join the panel.
Former Pasadena Mayor Rick Cole will be facilitating the discussion as the moderator.
The forum begins at 7 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, located at 2033 East Washington Blvd. in Pasadena. Convenient parking is available at the venue, which is also accessible via Metro Bus 256.
The event is open to all interested community members.
