Fair Oaks Avenue Near California Boulevard to Be Closed Saturday

A partial road closure is scheduled for Fair Oaks Avenue near California Boulevard on Saturday, March 9 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. due to construction, according to city officials. 

The officials are advising drivers to avoid the area altogether if possible to minimize disruption. 

This construction is among several ongoing infrastructure improvements and upgrades in Pasadena. 

Two 90-year-old water mains will be replaced further north on Fair Oaks Avenue as part of a major water infrastructure upgrade. That project spans from Washington Boulevard to Montana Street along Fair Oaks Avenue.

Other notable projects include the Avenue 64 Complete Streets Project, Lake Avenue Pedestrian Access Improvements, and the North Hill Complete Street Project.
