Rev. Jerry Campbell, President of Claremont School of Theology; Rabbi Mel Gottlieb; and Imam Jihad Turk will answer faith questions and discuss the creation of new Claremont Lincoln University, the world’s first interreligious university.
A new kind of University, Claremont Lincoln is an interdisciplinary, multicultural and multireligious call to action on behalf of humankind…a place that will educate people of many traditions, side by side, so as all may flourish in a multireligious world.
The vision for Claremont Lincoln University is a spark of optimism for the times mankind live in.
Come and join this two session conversation on this unique graduate school doing what at one time seemed the impossible – to find the common threads among religious and ethical traditions while honoring the distinctiveness of each.
This two-part series will begin at 8:30 AM on Sunday, 6th of May and is free and open to the public. Another similar session will be held on the 13th of May, same time. Snacks, coffee, and childcare will be available.
