[Updated] A traffic collision at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard on Saturday morning resulted in four injuries, according to Lisa Derderian, spokesperson for the Pasadena Fire Department.
The incident, which occurred at 6:45 a.m., involved two vehicles. One vehicle required extrication to free two occupants.
Pasadena police managed traffic control at the busy Old Pasadena intersection during the nearly hour-long operation.
According to Derderian, three patients were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries, while one was evaluated and released at the scene.
The Pasadena Humane Society was also called to care for a small dog that was unharmed, Derderian said.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
