The City’s Department of Transportation (DOT) will host a series of community meetings to present to the public the Pasadena Parking Strategic Plan, which outlines the steps needed to implement an effective and efficient parking and mobility program in the city.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, October 19 from 6:15 to 8 p.m. at Huntington Medical Research Institute located at 686 South Fair Oaks Ave.
The primary objectives of this comprehensive plan are to optimize program management, enhance a consistent user experience throughout the City, implement sustainable solutions, and adapt policies to increase flexibility.
Topics being reviewed include parking permit programs, merchant validation, paid parking rates, technology updates, garage improvements, and transportation alternatives. The City is soliciting feedback on the final draft of the plan.
The public may attend the meeting virtually via Zoom. The meeting ID is 865 3863 8161 and the passcode is 911427.
The department has contracted with Dixon Resources Unlimited to develop the Parking Strategic Plan in 2020.
Residents are asked to complete a neighborhood parking survey.
All residents and business owners are invited to review the final draft of the plan by clicking here.
