The conference takes place at the Supplyframe DesignLab at 61 S Fair Oaks Ave.
Attendees will participate in workshops and hear from speakers in the open-source hardware community. The event features hands-on activities including badge hacking and a soldering challenge.
Each ticket holder receives a custom electronics badge to program during the weekend. The badge designs remain under wraps until Friday’s early check-in.
Registration includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the conference. A kickoff party runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 31 at Supplyframe headquarters, featuring drinks and appetizers with the Hackaday and Supplyframe teams.
Lightning talks return as a conference highlight. Attendees can sign up to present quick demonstrations or project showcases.
Hackaday, now based in Pasadena, is an online community for makers, engineers and hobbyists. The platform enables users to share projects ranging from Arduino builds to complex systems.
Supplyframe, DigiKey and frame.work sponsor the event. For more information, visit https://hackaday.io/.
