Pasadena residents will see another hot weekend with highs in the mid to upper 90s before a slight cooling trend arrives early next week, according to National Weather Service forecasters.

Sunny skies and warm conditions are expected Friday, with a high near 96 degrees. Winds will remain calm in the morning, shifting southwest at about 5 mph in the afternoon. Overnight lows are forecast near 67 degrees under mostly clear skies.

Saturday will bring similar weather, with highs near 95 degrees and light southwest winds. Sunday is forecast to be hotter, reaching 97 degrees. Nights will stay mild, with lows around 66 to 67 degrees.

Forecasters expect daytime highs to remain between 94 and 99 degrees through Thursday. The hottest days are projected midweek, with highs near 98 Tuesday and 99 Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will gradually rise from 66 to 71 degrees, keeping evenings warm.

No rain is forecast for Pasadena, though monsoonal moisture may bring isolated showers or thunderstorms to nearby mountain areas. Winds will stay light locally, generally calm in the mornings and shifting southwest at 5 mph in the afternoons.

Pasadena residents should prepare for sunny skies and highs in the mid-90s both Saturday and Sunday. Outdoor activities are best scheduled for mornings or evenings to avoid peak afternoon heat.

With temperatures running 5 to 10 degrees above normal, residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activity during peak heat hours. Vulnerable populations, including seniors and outdoor workers, should take precautions despite no formal heat advisories for Pasadena.

Early next week will bring slight cooling, with highs near 94 Monday before climbing again to the upper 90s Tuesday through Thursday. Nights will remain warm, with lows between 69 and 71 degrees.

Pasadena faces a hot weekend with highs in the mid-90s, followed by a brief dip Monday before temperatures rise again midweek. Residents should expect continued sunny skies, warm nights, and above-normal heat through next Thursday, forecasters said.
