Campeau noted that Blake, also described as a Hispanic male from Pasadena, used his fists in the altercation and is currently in custody.
According to Campeau the suspect received a superficial scrape on his right cheek while being handcuffed on the ground the victim. The officer did not suffer any injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with additional information to contact the Pasadena Police Department.
