The California Department of Transportation District 7 announced intermittent lane reductions and off-ramp closures on the westbound Interstate 210 in Pasadena this week from Marengo Avenue to Fair Oaks Avenue.

The closures are scheduled for Monday, December 30, Friday, January 3, and Saturday, January 4, 2025, with work occurring from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The construction is part of the Soundwall Package 10 Project, which will construct approximately 16,000 feet of sound walls at three locations along Route 210.

The Soundwall Package 10 Project installation, covering both eastbound and westbound sections from Fair Oaks Avenue to Wilson Avenue, aims to create quieter neighborhoods for Los Angeles County residents.

The project, which began in this year, is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2025, according to California Department of Transportation District 7’s social media announcement.

Motorists should expect delays and plan alternative routes during construction hours. For additional details about the Soundwall Package 10 Project, residents can visit http://cloud.sfmc.metro.net/pasadena210.
