Jackknifed Big Rig Closes Three Lanes of the 210 at Arroyo Blvd.

Reported this morning and still ongoing, a traffic collision on the 210 West bound at Arroyo Blvd, involving a jackknifed big rig that struck two other vehicles blocking all lanes of traffic. Ambulances have responded to the scene, the extent of injuries are unknown at this time.

Currently the left three lanes are blocked and the right lane and shoulder are being used to move traffic, authorities reported.

The cause of the jackknife is still unknown.

The initial call came in at about 8:21 am.

“One of the parties involved was claiming injury,” said Altadena Highway Patrol Officer Vince Ramirez, although no specific type of injury was listed.

LA County Fire Department and the Pasadena Fire Department have responded to the scene.

Officer Ramirez said it is an unknown duration for the scene to be cleared.
