Kaiser Permanente on Top of Insure.com’s 2025 List of Best Health Insurance Companies in the U.S.

Kaiser Permanente has earned a top spot as the nation’s highest-rated health insurance company for overall customer satisfaction by Insure.com for the fifth consecutive year.

The healthcare provider received 4.17 out of 5 stars, tying for first place with one other national health insurance organization among 65 leading health insurance companies evaluated in the United States, according to Insure.com’s 2025 rankings.

Kaiser Permanente Southern California, which operates its regional headquarters in Pasadena on Walnut Street near the Civic Center, also received the highest National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) ranking with 4.2 out of 5 stars. NCQA evaluates health plans on, among other areas, member satisfaction.

Insure.com gave each company 1 to 5 stars with 5 stars being the best for its 2025 rankings, which were based on a survey of approximately 1,750 insurance policyholders. The evaluation measured customer experience, policy offerings, trust in their insurer, renewal intentions and satisfaction with digital experience.
