Honoring National Nurses Day and National Nurses Week, The Langham Huntington, Pasadena has donated a total of 10,000 surgical masks and 2,000 N95 masks each, to Huntington Hospital and City of Hope.

National Nurses Week begins Wednesday, May 6, and runs through May 12.

In a statement Wednesday, a hotel spokesperson said that the hotel was “excited” to make the “very important donation.”

“These masks will be useful to staff and patients as they care for the front lines staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so pleased to be able to help our neighbors in need and we thank our local health-care workers for all they do to keep the rest of us safe,” the statement added.

The Langham Huntington will re-open its doors on June 1, as part of a state-wide phased-in business recovery plan.
