A Los Angeles police officer suffered minor injuries in a crash involving a motorcycle today on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena.

The crash was reported at 1:02 p.m. Thursday just west of Marengo Avenue on the eastbound side of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a SigAlert following the closure of two eastbound lanes.

The Pasadena Fire Department responded to the scene, but additional details were not immediately available, an officer in the CHP’s Los Angeles Area Traffic Management Center told City News Service.

An LAPD representative told KTLA5 that an officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The exact extent of those injuries was not immediately known.
