The neighborhood open forum begins at 6 p.m. July 31 in the Mediterranean Room at Brookside Golf Club. The meeting will focus on what residents want to see happen at the former Linda Vista Elementary School site.
LVAA President Eric Kern will open the town hall. District 6 Council Member Steve Madison will deliver remarks about the school and park site.
The forum will include an open discussion period. Residents can speak for two to three minutes each about their ideas for the property.
“Your voice will help guide the Linda Vista Annandale Association as we prepare to advocate with the school board and city officials regarding the fate of the property,” according to an LVAA announcement.
Linda Vista Elementary School closed June 30, 2006, when the Pasadena Unified School District shuttered the campus.
Residents who cannot attend the meeting can complete an online survey by July 29, accessible through https://forms.gle/
