Los Angeles County Treasurer and Tax Collector Keith Knox announced on Monday that approximately 2.4 million Annual Secured Property Tax Bills for the year 2023-24 will be mailed to property owners by Wednesday, November 1.
The Department has made several operational improvements to enhance customer service delivery and modernize how property owners can access information and make online payments.
Starting November 1, property owners can view their tax bill online at ttc.lacounty.gov.
The County said enhancements include online access to the 2022-23 and 2023-24 Annual Secured Property Tax Bills, elimination of the Personal Identification Number (PIN) requirement to make online electronic check (eCheck) payments, and a more streamlined online payment system.
Property owners can find answers to most of their questions, including obtaining the amount due on any property or tax payment history for the past three fiscal tax years on the Los Angeles County Property Tax Portal at propertytax.lacounty.gov. Inquiries can also be submitted at ttc.lacounty.gov/public-inquiries or by calling the toll-free Property Tax Information Line at 1(888) 807-2111.
The first installment payment is due on November 1, 2023, and becomes delinquent by December 11, 2023. The second installment payment is due on February 1, 2024, and becomes delinquent by April 10, 2024. A 10 percent penalty will be imposed on each installment and a $10 cost on the second installment if payments are not received or postmarked by the delinquency date.
