A Calexico man was arrested on weapons charges after a security checkpoint stop at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on Sunday.
Bryan Marcias Corrado, 25, of Calexico, was asked to exit his vehicle at a security entrance gate to the stadium at the 1000 block of Rose Bowl Drive at 9:35 a.m., according to Pasadena police Lt. Domino Scott-Jackson.
A search was conducted and a canine handler allegedly discovered an AR-15 rifle, a 9mm pistol, and $7,000 in cash inside a case in the vehicle, Scott-Jackson said.
Corrado was placed under arrest and booked at the Pasadena Jail for various weapons charges and felonies.
