A 19-year-old man who was shot and found unresponsive following a crash in Pasadena was identified Thursday.
Officers responding about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday to the scene of the crash in the 700 block of Rio Grande Street, about a block north of Washington Park, located a man inside a vehicle that had crashed along the north curbline, the Pasadena Police Department reported.
The El Monte resident had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was unresponsive. Arriving paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
He was identified Thursday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Ivan Cervantes Cruz.
