A man waiting for a bus near the corner of Lake Ave. and Washington Blvd. was robbed at knifepoint by two assailants in broad daylight around 12:23 p.m. Monday.
Pasadena police Lt. Tom Delgado said that the two robbers approached the victim, who at first could not hear their demands because he was listening to music through his headset.
When the victim removed the earplug to listen, the pair demanded his iPod and one robber pulled out a black-handled knife with a three inch blade.
The victim complied with the robbers’ demands and was not injured.
The two robbers were both Hispanic men in their mid- to late twenties. The suspect who held the knife is described as 5′ 3″ tall, medium build, and sporting a full black beard. The second suspect is described as standing 6′ 2″, thin, and with a dark complexion.
The suspects have not been apprehended, Delgado said.
