Man Shot Last Night as Shooter Fires Into a Home

A man was shot last night shortly before midnight in the 800 block of Manzanita Avenue, police said.

Pasadena Police Sergeant Keith Gomez said that little is known about the incident in which an adult Hispanic man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

What is known, Gomez said, is that a group of men had gathered in a residence when a passerby fired at least one shot into the home, striking the victim.

Its is not known if the shooter was in a car or on foot, Gomez said. The suspect remains at large.
