Man Shot, Police Investigating

[Update]   A man was shot and wounded early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 7:41 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Raymond Avenue, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Andrea Perez.

According to Perez upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting at the scene but did not locate any victims or witnesses during an initial canvass of the area.

Later, officers responded to Huntington Hospital where a Hispanic man in his twenties had been transported to the emergency room with a gunshot wound, Perez said.

The victim was reportedly treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition Perez said.

According to Perez details on the specific evidence found at the scene or whether there is surveillance video of the incident was not available.

The investigation is ongoing, Perez said.
