The City Council on Monday voted to amend a contract with Los Angeles County, adding nearly half a million dollars in Measure H funding to support homeless services in Pasadena.
The amendment increases the value of the contract by $469,063 to $1.79 million. The additional funds represent an unspent balance from a prior agreement with the County that expired in 2024.
The money is earmarked for services through Pasadena’s Continuum of Care, including homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, housing navigation and emergency shelter programs. It also supports a Community Services Representative position in the city’s Housing Department.
Friends In Deed and Union Station Homeless Services are among the organizations receiving funding.
City staff said the measure aligns with Pasadena’s General Plan Housing Element, its Five-Year Consolidated Plan and its Public Housing Authority Plan.
The funding is already included in the Housing Department’s Fiscal Year 2026 operating budget, meaning the change will have no impact on the city’s General Fund.
