Nathaniel Johns Named General Manager of The Courtyard by Marriott Pasadena

The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town announced on Tuesday that Nathaniel Johns will come on board as the property’s General Manager, effective immediately.

“The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena is more than a hotel, it is an elevated experience for business and leisure travelers,” said Nathaniel Johns, General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town. “This is a unique opportunity to raise the bar for hospitality in Pasadena, where we will continue to honor the city’s history and deliver high-quality service for our guests.”

Johns will serve as the strategic business leader and will oversee business development, financial performance, community engagement and guest and employee satisfaction.

He has more than 16 years of experience leading full-service hotel teams and owners to performance and operational success within Marriott, Hilton and other major brands.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, under Johns’ leadership, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena will continue to offer an elevated experience that blends Pasadena’s historic charm with modern luxury. The property recently underwent a $12.8 million renovation, and now features an updated bar, gym and 314 guest rooms designed for the comfort and functionality of business and leisure guests.
