New Industrious Pasarroyo Office Campus Opens With 39,000 Square Feet of Workspace

A new Pasadena office campus boasting 39,000 square feet of workspace in a variety of sizes and configurations marked its grand opening on Tuesday.

Industrious Pasarroyo takes up two floors of the 10-story building at the former Corporate Center site at 251 S. Lake Ave., which was purchased by Coretrust Capital partners two years ago, according to the company. Industrious said it signed a management agreement with Coretrust to operate the space as part of its national network of premium workspace offerings.

“We’re so excited to be in Pasadena,” said Industrious Pasarroyo Community Manager Michelle Roy. “This is the first Pasadena location. We really want to encourage people to come up and see the space.”

The celebration was a quiet one, as the ongoing pandemic precluded a big party, she said. “So we’re just running the business as usual [for] the first day.”

The facility was ready for visitors, Roy added.

“Our private offices and suites deliver exactly the kind of solutions businesses and employees are looking for right now,” said Industrious Pasarroyo Area Manager Natalie Birren.

“There’s a total of four common areas at the location two on the eighth floor, two on the seventh floor,” Roy said.

The Lake Avenue facility will house 128 offices ranging in size from one-person workspaces to office suites, Roy said. It will be able to seat 552 people.

Roy said she expected a wide variety of organizations will ultimately fill the facility.

“Our members are all across the board,” Roy said. “We have some people who are in consulting, we have some software engineers, we have some startup companies… We have some people who are in the legal industry. So there’s an array of different types of industries that are currently represented.”

Amenities include a wellness room, unlimited color printing, private conference rooms, fast and secure Wi-Fi connections, office supplies, daily breakfast and craft coffee, professional cleaning, and an “inspiring member community,” according to a statement from Industrious.

“While being very mindful and cautious of keeping everybody safe and comfortable, we would love to give people the opportunity to come and check us out,” Roy said.

Industrious said it is also planning a second Pasadena location in the form of a 27,000 square foot office complex at One Colorado. An opening date for the second Pasadena project, to be called Industrious Old Pasadena, has yet to be announced.
