NFL quarterback Bryce Young is partnering with the Rose Bowl Institute and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses to host his second annual Youth Football ProCamp on April 4 at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The event aims to teach football fundamentals to young athletes while also emphasizing mental health awareness.

“The Rose Bowl Institute strives daily to impact as many youth as possible about the future success that they can all obtain through sportsmanship and leadership,” said James Washington, President of the Rose Bowl Institute. “We thank Bryce Young for partnering with RBi and the Tournament of Roses in this camp to develop these young men and women as they strive to become awesome leaders and citizens.”

The camp will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to boys and girls ages 6-15. Participants will work directly with Young, the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner and first overall selection in the 2023 NFL draft, to learn techniques and improve their performance.

Each camper will receive a team photo, souvenir autograph, and limited-edition camp t-shirt.

This partnership brings together Young’s “Young 9 Foundation,” which focuses on raising mental health awareness for youth, with the Rose Bowl Institute, which champions sportsmanship, leadership, and citizenship through educational programs, focused dialogues, and awards. Their joint goal is to support youth in the Pasadena and Altadena communities and provide tools for success both on and off the field.

Campers will have the opportunity to meet and learn from Young, ask questions, and receive feedback on their performance — ensuring that participants leave with new knowledge and memories to last a lifetime.

Young will also host another youth football camp at his alma mater, Mater Dei High School, on April 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds from that event will benefit families and communities impacted by the Eaton Fire.
