The nomination period began on July 15 and closes on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
If an incumbent does not file the necessary paperwork for reelection, the nomination period in that race will be extended to Aug. 14.
Nomination papers must be signed by 25 registered voters and candidates must pay $25.
The election will be held on Nov. 5. The district conducted plurality elections and the candidate with the most vote wins even if the tally does not cross the 50% mark.
