The nation is suffering with a broken health care system.

Saturday, June 27, 2009 is designed to emphasize throughout the 50 states and all Congressional districts that without change , things will only get worse. The problems include financing, adequacy of manpower and resource, all the ways in which people by simple measures can keep themselves healthy and avoid expensive emergency room visits and hospitalizations. Prevention is worth a pound of cure. considered in Congress right now.

Confusion and wrangling abound. By finding an event near you – in the 29th Congressional District – sponsored by Oragnizing for America along with the Democratic Party and the Obama Administration – information is available.

Congress is actively working on creating a comprehensive bill. Let Adam Schiff know what you think and want to see in new legislation. The contents are not fixed but the calendar for the House indicates that a bill will be passed by July 31.

Get informed! ask questions! talk to yoour family and friends! This is the chance for the Public to be heard. Then – let Congressman Schiff know what you want. He is receptive and our district is very active.

But – there is a deadline we all have to meet. Now is the time. The crisis is here and must be solved – now.

All citizens have the opportunity of sending their opinions to their Representatives and Senators so that the final Health Reform bill, due to pass in 2009, reflects their needs .

This is our time to make our voices heard. Events are taking place nationwide in all Congressional districts on June 27, 2009.

We need an informed and empowered citizenry.
Now is the time. The deadline is soon.
