Pasadena Announces Christmas Tree Recycling Options for Residents

Published on Friday, December 22, 2023 | 5:47 am

The City of Pasadena is offering several options for residents to recycle their Christmas trees this holiday season.

Curbside pickup for Christmas trees will be available. Place the whole tree out on the parkway without the stand, lights and ornaments from January 2 to 16.

After the regular two-week tree pickup period, residents are asked to trim their trees to fit in yard waste containers for recycling, ensuring that the lid can close.

In addition to curbside pickup, residents can drop off their Christmas trees at Eaton Blanche Park or Robinson Park from December 26 to January 2, between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

All stands, ornaments, and lights should be removed before dropping off the trees for recycling.

For more details, residents are encouraged to contact the Citizen Service Center at (626) 744-7311.
