Pasadena Construction Firm Breaks Ground on 101-Unit Apartment Building in Palmdale

Pasadena-based RAAM Construction announced this week that the company has begun building a $33.3 million,101-unit, three-story apartment building in Palmdale.

The 123,000 square-foot multifamily project dubbed Juniper Grove is scheduled for completion in June 2022, the company said in a written statement.

The development will provide much-needed affordable housing in the community, according to RAAM Construction President and CEO Richard Lara.

“The need for affordable multifamily housing continues to grow significantly, especially now due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Lara said. “This demand for affordable housing is extremely prevalent in Palmdale, as occupied housing units currently sit at 92.4 percent. Juniper Grove will greatly serve the local community by providing families with brand new, beautifully designed residential units that fit within their budgets.”

The development is located at 150 E. Avenue R in Palmdale.
