The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will host a free webinar Thursday on the fundamentals of building an effective marketing plan, the second installment in a new monthly series that brings together more than a dozen San Gabriel Valley chambers and Pasadena City College to deliver business education programming across the region.
Marketing strategist Craig Valine of Enhanced Marketing Performance will present “The Basic Pillars of an Effective Marketing Plan” on April 9 at 4 p.m. via Zoom. The session will cover the essential elements needed to get a business’s message to its target audience, according to a Chamber press release. Valine will take questions from attendees after the presentation.
BizBoost, as the series is called, launched in March with a session on business plan basics. The webinars take place on the second Thursday of each month and are free to members of any participating chamber as well as the general public. Advance registration is required.
“I am extremely pleased to have noted marketing strategist and consultant Craig Valine sharing his expertise and guidance with us,” said Paul Little, President and CEO of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association. “I have heard Mr. Valine speak many times and he is always insightful, precise and helpful.”
Valine, who is based in Pasadena, has more than 25 years of experience as a marketing consultant and is the founder of EMP Alliance, a membership organization for consultants and business owners, according to his professional profile.
The BizBoost series is a collaboration between the Pasadena Chamber and the chambers of Alhambra, Azusa, Claremont, Covina, Duarte, El Monte/South El Monte, Irwindale, La Verne, the Regional Chamber of the San Gabriel Valley, Rosemead, San Dimas, South Pasadena and Temple City, as well as the Small Business Development Center and Women’s Business Center at Pasadena City College, according to the press release. The series is sponsored by Verizon and Wells Fargo.

The Chamber, founded as the Board of Trade in 1888, supports approximately 1,100 members with networking, advocacy, and informational programming, according to the press release.
