The community-forward entity of a local realtors association is going the extra mile to help those who find themselves without homes.
Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® in Action, the community-based entity of Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® is currently collecting hygiene items for Union Station Homeless Services to support its Hygiene Kit Program.
The program assists in meeting the common needs of its participants in helping to rebuild their lives and transition out of homelessness.
Drop-off locations have been designated to partnering real estate brokerages throughout Pasadena, Glendale, La Cañada/Flintridge and San Marino to serve in collecting hygiene products. PFAR is asking the community to contribute by donating in-kind items, such as:

Travel-size toothbrushes/toothpaste/dental floss/mouthwash

Shampoo & conditioner/anti-bacterial soap/body wash

Razors
-
Folding hairbrushes/combs
-
Small First-Aid Kits
-
Deodorant
-
Lotion/sunscreen/lip balm
-
Hand sanitizer
-
Tampax/sanitary napkins
-
Diapers (adult/children)
-
Toilet paper
-
Snacks/Bottled water/granola bars
The donation deadline is April 22 at 4:30 p.m.
If you would like to contribute, deliver hygiene items to PFAR at 1070 East Green Street, Suite 100 in Pasadena to be included in the drop-off at Union Station Homeless Services on April 29 at noon. If you would like to participate in assembling hygiene kits, contact the Community Engagement Manager, Kanishia L.
